for 1949, with blued 18 1/2in. barrel, blade fore-sight, elevating blade rear-sight, plain air-chamber etched 'BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO. LTD. "CADET MAJOR" .177 AIR RIFLE MADE IN ENGLAND' together with the BSA piled arms trademark, beech half-stock embossed on the right side of butt 'BSA', the whole in excellent condition and appearing little used with storage marks only
